My tutoring experience includes more than two years of experience in tutoring students in Math, Political Science, History, Geography, Grammar, Social Studies, Reading, Writing, and the PSAT. The students I worked with during this time ranged from as young as seven years old to college students. Some of those students also had special education issues such as dyslexia and A.D.D. I was comfortable working with these students because, like any other student, they can make progress. It is a pleasure to watch and be a part of that process.My ability to work with students of such varied backgrounds stems from my undergraduate work at San Diego State University, and from the National University Social Science for Secondary Schools teaching certification program I am currently enrolled in. I chose this career path because I very much enjoy working with students. The training I am currently receiving in the National University program means that I'll be able to bring up-to-date techniques into our tutoring sessions.When I'm not tutoring, I enjoy spending time with my son, visiting family, and getting in a bike ride from time to time.
